Audrey Bowman, LMSW
Licensed Master's Social Worker
Psychotherapist
Hi, I'm Audrey. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process that provides clients with a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment to navigate life’s challenges. My method is rooted in the Systems Theory approach, which looks at core relationships and how they impact our view of ourselves in relation to others. I believe that the way we think affects our actions and behaviors, which in turn affects our relationships. I also practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings, including counseling victims of domestic violence, substance abuse, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I have experience running groups, couples therapy, and parent training. I have also worked with children and families who are struggling with family issues and special needs, and have assisted in the research of human trafficking.
