Meet Our New Graduate Interns!

Updated: Oct 9, 2023

We are excited to announce and introduce our new graduate interns at Mindfulness Counseling of NY. They come to us with great backgrounds, experience and enthusiasm.

First, meet Sara Aharon. She lives in New York City and her therapeutic approach combines techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, the Strengths Perspective, Systems Theory, and Insight-Oriented Therapy, to help people empower themselves and identify goals moving forward. Her background is in adult career coaching where she specialized in culture-sensitive communication. She is currently obtaining her MSW at Yeshiva University and is almost finished with her degree. Find out more about her on our About Us page and on her Psychology Today profile.

Also, we are happy to welcome Ilana D. Arazie from Westchester, NY, who is also a graduate student at Yeshiva University obtaining her MSW. Before graduate school, she spent ten years studying spirituality and mindfulness and hopes to bring an East meets West approach to her clients. Arazie helps her clients connect with themselves on a deep level, so they can obtain clarity, purpose and happiness. She has experience working with the geriatric community as well as adults and adolescents. Find her profile on our About Us page as well as Psychology Today.

Please help us welcome our Graduate Interns. They are both available for therapy sessions and please contact us if you would like to consultation with either of them.
